Improve yourself – how to give yourself feedback

Getting feedback is an important part of improving your teaching practices. But when we think about feedback, we usually think about getting it from our peers, supervisors or maybe students. It’s important to remember that we can be our own source of feedback as well.

One of my goals for this semester is to get my whiteboard in top shape. To do this, I take photos of my board when I think it turned out really cool and is helpful for my students, so that I can use the layout later on, but also if I think it turned out too messy and not at all as planned.
